Dead Air Issue
To CarlSayer:
Thanks for the heads-up about dead air in the zip files. I've downloaded and tested them and find no problem. May I suggest that it may be your player? I recommend foobar2000: a good, freeware player that eliminates breaks between tracks.

A Master Class with Fritz Kreisler
An excellent digital transfer from 78s of a masterful rendition of the Mendelssohn. Very humbling to hear the simple grace and joy of Kreisler's interpretation. Almost detect that he wants to break into a waltz during the 2nd movement. There may be "dead air" at the end of the VBR MP3 conversion ... don't know if it is an "unzip" problem at my end. Noticed the same issue with the first movement of the MP3 conversion of Kreisler's Beethoven violin concerto. No problem with the other movements.
